Xtreme Margaritas margarita machine, 50 - 9oz. cups, 50 – straws, salt for the cups, our 5-gal. pre-measured mixing jug, a heavy-duty Rubbermaid cart and an extension chords (if needed). How many drinks does one batch yield?

One batch of margaritas makes about 80 eight-ounce drinks. The machine will hold about one whole batch (5 gallons of mix). Experience shows that usually more than half of the guests drink the frozen drinks even if you offer a choice. We recommend one batch for every 25 frozen beverage drinkers. Extra margarita mix is $12.00 all other mixes $14 and refundable if unopened.

How long does the first batch take?

Indoors about 30 minutes, outside on warm days, 45 minutes to an hour. There is no waiting between batches because you add to reservoir when the MIX-OUT light comes on.

Who provides the liquor and how much will I need?

Xtreme Margaritas does not provide liquor.  You must provide all the liquor for your party. A medium strength batch of margaritas calls for 2.75 liters tequila, and a half-liter triple sec.

Are other kinds of drinks available?

Absolutely.  I thought you’d never ask!  You can serve Strawberry Daiquiris or Margaritas, Pinã Coladas, Raspberry Ritas, Mango Ritas, Banana Daiquiris, Peach Bellinis, Louisiana Hurricanes, Bordermilk (Lemon Freeze), Tropical Punch, Rum Runners.   You can even make all these as non-alcoholic fruit slushies FOR KIDS!

How far in advance should I reserve my machine?

We recommend 2-4 weeks and longer for holiday seasons and traditional party dates such as Labor Day, 4th of July and New Years Eve. One machine will deliver 3 frozen drinks for up to 25 frozen beverage drinkers. If more than 50 guests are expected, a second machine is strongly recommended otherwise the machine will not perform properly.

Mixing Instructions

1. Use our 5-gallon per-mix jug provided for mixing. (Jug is property of XTREME MARGARITAS.)
2. Empty contents of ½ gallon
Xtreme Margaritas mix into the jug. Add water to red line.
3. Add 1 to 3-liters of Tequila, depending on the strength of drink desired (2.75 is a good average for Margaritas).
4. Add one-half liter Triple Sec. (Optional, the mix has natural Triple-Sec flavoring.)
5. Shake well. Slowly pour entire contents into machine.
6. Switch machine to ON/ to the LEFT 45 minutes to an hour before the party. Switching the machine on earlier than this and allowing the machine to sit idle can cause a freeze-up blockage.
7. Drinks are ready to serve in about 30 to 40 minutes.
8. DO NOT LET MACHINE RESERVOIR BECOME COMPLETELY EMPTY BETWEEN BATCHES.

TIPS FOR TROUBLE FREE OPERATIONS OF THE

MARGARITA MACHINE
Use ONLY heavy-duty 12-gauge wire extension cord provided with machine. This is larger than most standard extension cords, and you probably don't have one. Damage will occur to machines hooked up with smaller than 12 gauge wire extension cords.

YOU ARE RESPONSIBLE FOR ANY DAMAGE

Drawing too many drinks too fast causes them to become runny.
Wait 5 to 10 minutes for the machine to recover.
When party is almost over, you may allow the reservoir to become empty by switching machine to CLEAN/to the RIGHT. The freezing action is now off. Otherwise, if freezing action were On, the final drinks freeze up and refuse to flow. This stoppage can happen during the party if reservoir is allowed to become empty.
